found out that the missing Amazon package was posted with an incomplete delivery address (according to a screen shot the seller just emailed).

the seller is blaming me - despite the fact that the address is supplied to them by Amazon and all the rest of the items in the same order will have used the same address information lodged on their system.
sef_lopod
Amazon is blaming the seller and claiming that they did supply the full address (and weren't the ones to type it incorrectly across to the delivery label).
sef_lopod
not sold anything directly on Amazon (ie without going via Spoonflower) and hence has no idea which of them (Amazon staff or individual seller) is responsible for copying addresses from the Amazon database onto the delivery label.
sef_lopod
currently blaming the seller as the most likely eejit - especially since they should have notice that what remained was not a full address.
sef_lopod
it won't currently be possible to contact the post office because it's too late today once I had the emailed reply and it's a Sunday and then a Bank Holiday for the next couple of days.
sef_lopod
the seller claims they put a return address on the package but they don't appear to have acted in all this time if it was returned to them. As with many people, they're only able to go into their office occasionally. So it will be a long time before they can check anything there.

my life is fundamentally doomed and it's impossible to do anything much at all without it turning into an escalating disaster in some manner.

sef_lopod needs to be ultra-careful: yesterday's "You And Yours" featured the £1.99 scam. Didya hear about it?
sef_lopod
no idea about the programme(?) or the scam - unless it's a postal price vs item price thing.

the seller is now complaining that I gave them a very bad review (as a direct result of them using an obviously defective address - whether or not it was actually messed by Amazon or themselves - and then blaming me for it).
