[work] Nothing like hearing a chorus of "I didn't need Ms. Sunny" to make me feel appreciated

so we're really only in school for May since we all know that June it's a wrap so we're trying to get the kids ready for kindergarten

the kids always ask me for help opening their milk so i go and do it but today the teacher went "you don't need Ms. Sunny you can do it yourself" so one of our kids did it and went "i did it!" so the teacher goes "see? you didn't need ms. sunny" which kicked off "i didn't need Ms. Sunny" and "i didn't need Ms. Synny either"

i keep telling myself i shouldn't feel a certain way about it but i kind of shut down for the day and went through everything in auto mode

kind of been debating if i even want to go into work tomorrow or just take a personal day

jeez that would be demoralising tho

yeah like i keep telling myself that how i'm feeling is right but i'm still just like :/

like i wanted to be here doing this when i wanted to start teaching this year and how the teacher went over our administration's head just to get back into the classroom
