[Firefly] Would it have been SO MUCH TO ASK to see Wash and River play out some ridiculously elaborate dino drama?

We never really see them interact outside of full ensemble scenes even though their dynamic ought to be ADORABLE

I'm just picturing River, at eye level behind the console.

"The Stegosaurus thagomizer could be propelled with precision. The carnivore will be impaled."

"Not if he approaches...FROM ABOVE."

Also somewhere in the middle of the elaborate set piece she just looks him in the eye and declares "You want kids."

"Didja need your psychic powers for that or didja just notice the subtext of this entire scenario."

I was picturng more Wash tries to explain well yes but it's complicated and wow these arguments really fall flat when he's talking to someone who can read his mind

And then he falls prey to his own habit of just continuing to talk

River eventually wanders by Zoe and says "You're welcome."
