the batman who laughs?

Batman: Metal was a comic arc, featuring negative deadend versions of Batman from universes that were about to end. They are combonation of Batman and usualy one of the Founding members of the Justice league and twisted and they all got super metalish titles.

The Dawnbreaker for example, was Batman if he found a green lantern ring on the night of his parents. Where as The Batman Who Laughs is basically just batman that became the joker.

It was an intresting arc thing. And introduced said character as a foil to Joker too. Its the one thing in the entire DC multiverse that Joker has admit scares him and makes him drop all his act and act dead serious
