[US covid vaccines] hopefully a lot of people know about this already but i didn't, so, here's a place to figure out where the heck to sign up for a vaccine appt in the US by state:
replurking for my folks who haven't got one yet, I been trying myself, but there's only a couple locations I can get to and there haven't been appointments available yet and no waiting list, so bear that in mind as well
v-safe Also for folks getting their shots, the cdc has a program for tracking side effects. It texts you once a day to track any symptoms you might be feeling. I know a lot of folks are having to play “is this a side effect or just anxiety/depression/life” game and this helped keep in mind what an actual side effect looks like
alsooooo for anyone in California, some counties are opening up availability to 16+ this week instead of next week, so it's worth googling your county specifically to see if you can jump in early!!
i also have this hot tip for oregon in particular: Vaccine Tool | OHSU after u fill out the eligibility form it takes u to a page with all available ohsu appointments They drop them mon-thurs at 9am, and they’re usually gone by 9:45
if you are in the greater Austin, TX area and are having trouble signing up for any reason, Austin vaccine angels are a volunteer group that will get appointments for you, usually in less than a week
