[Work] [Happy Things] I forgot to take pictures and share this the day that it happened, but last Monday (during all of the insanity that happened that day) an older lady got on our second-to-last flight, and gave myself and my trainee a bag of chocolates, and an incredibly sweet card.

It was so unexpected and so well-timed, and I honestly teared up a bit and nearly cried.

The lady was sitting right behind me/my trainee too, and we chatted a bit during the flight. I apparently managed to get her further respect because I made a “2B or not 2B” joke in regards to her husband’s seat assignment (because there is no 2B on our planes) and she said that she was a former English teacher who could quote the whole thing.

Awwwww.

And I laughed and admitted that I could too, thanks to one of my former English teachers.
