Dr. Yubsie
this year I'm looking at Daylight Savings as "well at least the graveyard will be open after work now"

Dr. Yubsie
plus it's not like there's anywhere to go out anything to do, after an entire year getting stolen what's an hour?

Yeah. LIke, it's still bullshit, but it feels like lesser bullshit compared to the year-long bullshit we've been dealing with.

Dr. Yubsie
it's not really as noticeable when the weekend is empty anyway

I'm excited that I can go into Canadian Tire to replace the lightbulb that just burned out and sad that I'm excited

Yeah, curbside pickup for Canadian Tire was really not designed for people without cars, as Saint deiscovered.

The ability to walk in and just... buy a light bulb, and possibly impulse buy something from one of the big bins of discount random stuff is not something I would have considered a delight in the Before Times.

Dr. Yubsie
also it's a weird fitting so it's much easier to go in and actually see the bulb instead of squinting online

Dr. Yubsie
before running errands was a chore but now... wow going in and grabbing something at a store was easy mode

My preference for weird lightbulbs is telling the home hardware staff "I need a this"but they're closed on Sundays because prevents

haha i said the same thing yesterday. i live near a big cemetery that's great for walks and bike rides. yesterday i saw they will now be open til 7 and got excited
![](https://avatars.plurk.com/8278717-medium2.gif)
Dr. Yubsie
The cemetery is just nicer to walk in than the street and since I'm not getting the activity I used to get just from... living in a walkable city and going to stuff, it's nice to have

I love cemetery walks in general, tbh. They're generally such lovely peaceful green spaces, and there's also the history aspect when you're in an older one.

Mount Pleasant is where the cool kids aspired to be buried

I'm so glad our daylight savings wasn't today because I needed to be a two and a half hour drive away at 9:30 and that was early enough, really

It completely snuck up on me this year.

Didn't even remember it until I realized it this morning and grumbled
