googled ... "Quirks & Quarks is a Canadian science news program" ... and concluded you're probably talking about a Cohen. I don't listen to podcasts or radio shows though.

he's probably an ignorant psychobabbler like the rest of them - eg claiming that other animals don't reason. There's always the question of degree of course but that also applies within the human population.

Just hearing a relatively short interview with him, I could see the intellectual dishonesty. And I'm not sure if Bob McDonald wasn't aware of that going into the interview, but it wasn't really addressed. I wonder if somwhere down the road it does get addressed.
