The players have all sworn a pledge to the Dryad Pirate, Rose (also known as "the Blood Red Rose") and serve on her ship of the same name. Rose was so wronged in the past that she turned her tree into a ship to hunt down those who wronged her across the sea of dread, and takes other vengeance-seekers as crew
"My anger storms across the sea! Bitter are my tears! I'm a wretch bound on vengeance and blood! I wish to be my foe's fears! To the Rose who lost her grace! The one the depths refused to claim! Let us spill the brigand's blood! Let us be a blight upon the darkness! Your pact I will embrace, it will not be unwrought!"
At which point the rose will turn red, a storm will form, the wind carrying eerie singing and basically you see what is in the YouTube video as the ship approaches
"On this rose I swear, the weight of vengeance I shall bear Against those who have wronged me and wronged Captain Rose we shall deliver bloody justice against our foes For a year and a day with the Rose's crew I shall stay The captain's commands I will always obey...
...I will risk life and limb to protect my fellow crewmate, and they shall do the same until this oath's end date In the service of the Rose I shall be granted Body and will of iron and weapons enchanted I shall never betray the Blood Red Rose Even if my loyalty would bring my life to a close"
