12. At least one thing that they tend to overreact to. - Shame, or like, things he feels like he feels like he should be ashamed for from authority figures or important people in his life. Alec is pretty much always a 0-60 kind of person, he has very little in between gear.

So he'll shut down entirely and not do the thing he's ashamed of ... or decide to act like he doesn't care and do it anyway. No in in between. In canon/pre-Dup he was very much still in the shut down part.

19. Is there anything they refuse to budge on? What are they stubborn about? - Probably stuff like ~duty~ and ~family~. Alec will do things that he believes are for the best of the people he loves sometimes regardless of what they say otherwise, or to his own detriment.

See canon alec breaking up with Magnus so he had his powers, or Dup Alec trying not to yell about loving people five minutes in, as he's prone to do. Alec is a Big Brother, he always thinks the responsibility of doing the right thing and fixing things comes down to him.

7. What is the biggest mistake they’ve ever made? - Lord. Someone he loved told him they loved him and asked him to take a chance and he turned it down and never had a never chance and he's never forgiven himself for it. But there's also shooting a monster that can't die and being possessed by it. They're not unrelated

20. What is a self-inflicted misery of theirs? (i.e. something they perpetuate themselves - WHAT ISN'T? I mean, see above. But El tends to run from the things he wants most. But he's also prone to indulging in vices like drugs and booze and self indulgence and then suffer afterward. .

El is also just the type who will push at a bruise, pick at a scab, just to make sure it still hurts
