[RL/School Things] ASDFJKL; THAT WAS NOT OKAY

SO

I'm writing an online quiz on my test computer

I accidentally hit the power button on said computer after starting the quiz

it SOMEHOW didn't shut down, I don't know how I managed to abort that and wrote the quiz with no issues from there but THAT WAS TERRIFYING

This test was all short answers so I have to wait for grading, I feel like I did really well though

it's... Also gotten me to rethink how I study, so hopefully that'll be apparent on my theory exam tomorrow

(for context on how easy this was to do, the power key is the button directly above backspace)

but for how I actually did on the quiz? I... Honestly feel like I aced it. Completely

which is rare for quizzes, even rarer for short answer.

the teachers are usually pretty fast for grading so hopefully, HOPEFULLY, I'll know soon

re-thinking how I study came from how I crammed for this. I looked at the assignments and they were all short-answer stuff, I looked up the answers from the text, wrote it all down, wrote everything over and over until I had it memorized.

and sure enough those were the types of questions on the quiz

So... I think I can do this. For tomorrow's exam. It'll take a few hours tonight and I'll probably give my brain a break after class later today but when I start I think I'll be able to do it well

Got an A, missed two marks because I misunderstood one of the questions. I was able to go and see which one at least, considering I was freaking out over my computer possibly shutting down mid-quiz I didn't have time to go back to re-read

holy crap Module 1 review is taking a long time. It's the longest out of the five at least, I'm confident with module 4 so that'll be a quick lookover, so that leaves 2,3, and 5

Module 1 review done x_x taking a few minutes before starting on 2

module 2 is almost done, I forgot it was short. I'm actually fairly confident for module 3, too

I think module 3 took longer than anticipated, module 4 was maybe 5 minutes lol

MODULE 5 TIME! I have an hour twenty minutes at the most, time to go over everything

I have the medical instruments memorized so that helps

I think that's all the "study the books and do the guided readings questions" work I can do, just need to memorize a few new medical terms, make sure the instruments are memorized once more, then it's off to bed

I'm only just now realizing how cramped my hand is. Not used to intense writing for 3.5 hours

Partly my own fault because I decided today was the day to change how I studied. I'm hoping it bears fruit for the exam, and I'll probably do this a little more spread out over time from now on

exhausted but my study methods bore fruit. A- for the theory exam, a whole letter grade above the previous exam ( B- ) so I'm doing something right. The only thing I can think of that I need to do is to spread studying out over more time instead of cramming just so that it's easier on my brain

I lost a couple of marks due to dumb mistakes (misread a question, and forgot to go back to fully complete another in short answer), but overall I'm happy with how I did

I guess I won't complain???
