Being fair, two of those used to have what they say on the tin. Fox News never had one fox.

Fox in my area used to have a kid's presenter named Kitty Fox. Wonder what happened with her after they stopped doing local kids programming

yeah history channel and mtv did once have documentaries and music videos, respectively

I'm pretty sure Fox is just named after some rich billionare named Fucko Fox tho

other things that are falsely advertised nowdays but didn't used to be: TruTV (used to be CourtTV, the law channel to CSPAN's economics channel, is now neither true nor about law), Syfy...siffy? Suffle? Jesus, what do they call the SciFi network now
