in canon he literally unironically trots out the "what's the point of doing something if you don't do it right" -- and while that's pre-accident Larry, who was much more of an asshole, he is still VERY PARTICULAR when it comes to his pet hobbies

wanna clarify, edward volunteered to help with the gourmet meal, my brain is half-convinced lark is responding to the idea of edward offering to help with regular meals, but then im like, "no but edward already does that" and i am just generally wanting to make sure which part of my brain is reading that tag right mdkhgdjf
he was like, "yeah, i can do this, probably" until he was talking to petr and then he was immediately like "actually i have no idea what my job is supposed to look like"
