I rambled a whole theory about how Agatha isn't actually the villain in my last WandaVision plurk. If you think about it, everything Agatha's done is to subvert the illusion of Westview.
She came in with Sparky after he was killed and that forced Wanda to explain death to the kids and that things can't come back and they have to accept it.
Y'know, just like Wanda needs to accept with Vision.
There's more than that. Like bringing back Pietro but the wrong Pietro because Wanda's brother is gone. Or parking at the edge of town and giving Vision that extra nudge to cross the border.
We'll see but that makes more sense to me. She and Pietro seem to be in cahoots too since he volunteered to take the kids and free up Vision for his investigation. I don't see why she'd allow that if she created and is trying to maintain the Hex
There's also the subtle fact that her theme song is a parody of The Munsters theme which is a show about a family of monsters that are actually perfectly benevolent.
i do not think Agatha is benevolent, however, I do think she's helping -- but with a mind to get something for her troubles.
(that laugh was almost comically overblown - as though overselling the role to turn attention all on her imo. but it also really worked for the pitch of her Reveal Song. XD)
She's probably out for something yeah, but if you look at her actions from the standpoint that everything happening in Westview is actually bad and some kind of trap or whatever then throwing a wrench into the illusion of Wanda's false family life isn't really a bad act.
Everything seems to be engineered to make Wanda want to maintain and even grow the Hex. Whether that's her doing or something else's the Hex needs to come down.
Plus if you look at her song as the male vocalist being the villain whose plans Agatha is messing with and he parts being her rubbing it in then the bit with Sparky at the end could be her adding insult to injury.
"Yeah, and don't forget I shot down your gamble with the dog too."
It's been Agatha all along!
Y'know, just like Wanda needs to accept with Vision.

Like we planned!
