TLDR: one of the uni clubs (Scifi And Fantasy) I hang around sometimes arranged to have the actual robot from the show be brought down and driven around a bit to help promote the club. They even got some custom voice lines from the voice actor!

It was good fun! They guy that brought him down had an RC remote, so he drove him around and it was nice!
