Nnngh I foolishly ordered a new table from Ikea to put the tank on eventually, but I'd have to go pick it up, which means I'd have to drive there...in the snow...

I haaaaate driving in snow; I do not have winter tires DX

I am hoping that some of it melts by tomorrow but weather seems to indicate definitely snow overnight...

so the first pet place I called, they said that because of covid stuff last year, they didn't breed a bunch of new dragons like they usually do, so supply is really low, and new ones will probably be available in the summer

I don't know if I should call other places to check or if that's gonna be the case across the board...

like dang I'm looking on breeder sites now and all the dragons they show are sold out D:

or the only place that does have them is like...on the other end of the province or something, and I want to pick them up in person, not have it shipped

okay...I emailed a breeder that I think is more local to ask if they have any available, and if not, what the timeframe would be on them being available

I'll just not go pickup the Ikea order and let that get refunded, if I don't know for sure I can actually get all those supplies and stuff this weekend XP

Ahh yay did hear back from the breeder; they do have some babies available!! ;o;

maybe I can go buy all the supplies and do initial setup this weekend, and get the dragon the weekend after, if that's doable...

she just wrote back asking if I was ready now or still in planning. I wrote back that I was still planning; that maybe the weekend of the 27th would be ideal for pickup. Am now waiting to hear back
