I just read a news article that today...yes today! is only the 3rd time in the last 100 years that the entire country of Canada has an outdoor temperature below 0c. Yup...we are a frozen country today.

somehow I’d assumed that would happen much more often.

Vancouver or Victoria BC rarely gets below zero at sea level.
