Gonna have to tell housemate that we're going to kick her out if she has another night like tonight. Probably gonna do it tomorrow or day after, so I can control my temper better.

She was making a huge fuss and clatter because she wanted to make cornbread and couldn't manage it (for reasons that were quite fixable), then started shouting and screaming when we tried to point out fixes. Doing stuff like stacking metal pots inside of my ceramic pan again, slamming drawers, screeching about how the stove isn't clean enough, etc.

Told her that she needed to calm down and stop wrecking things, got screamed at that she wasn't angry, she was tired of people telling her she was angry, she's focused and utterly emotionless right now.

Got bad enough that Mom decided that she wanted me to drive her around so that she wouldn't be in the house (got an ice cream cone for Mom, so she's feeling better!) and when we came back, housemate was in the shower and the oven wasn't warm.

And, y'know, Mom hasn't been driven out of the house since my stepfather lived with us.

So, yeah, words will be had and they'll be blunt. This isn't a "We may", it's an "I will."

Definitely better to do it tomorrow, so that boundary is set. That sounds like such a nightmare to deal with

We took her in out of charity. She was a fantastic housemate for the first few months. Then it just shifted and I can see why she's had people kicking her out after she's been living with them for a year.
