that is true, but i do think it doesn't hurt to have like a side-thing (like a low stakes rp psl/meme) even if they're both writing, sometimes it helps to like refresh the brain for the main thing

there was one helpful advice i got from my cousin years ago on his illustration work on how he'd have another file open to doodle stuff between his main work just so he won't feel stuck on his work, and it's an advice i still follow whether it's writing or drawing

yaya there are parts on the script that i think are like 'ohh this is perfect for a film/animation' but gets me thinking how to like translate that to comic pages without losing much of the feeling

holy fuck it's been so long for me too. I made friends for life at smash. it was such a strong community

everyone just wanted to do things. I was the same. everyone drawing made me draw and I can't get that feeling or quality back

yeah it was like... partly being birthed from tegaki + brawl being SHINY AND NEW and the rp game itself being SHINY AND NEW made this constant stream of rp content and inspiration for art
