[52 weeks of cooking] I've started partaking in this challenge at the beginning of the month and I've been doing every prompt so far SO I GUESS I'M GOIN' IN FOR THE LONG HAUL
I swear this is just a coincidence, but I've really started to look after my weight since the beginning of the year. So, I've been trying to find new things that I might crave later.
I actually bought some more cauliflower afterwards. I think I might roast them in the oven a bit, maybe put on some lemon to jazz it up a bit. That's what I've been doing with broccoli anyways.
Then after that is English. First thing that came to mind is the GBBO, so I want to recreate something from that. I want to have a little watching party of GBBO with other people!
omg i'm dying all these foodstuff look so good!!! that penne rustica looks magnificent... so does the cauliflower wings! and i think your bakpao looks perfect, appearance-wise that surely looks like what we eat back home hehe
More thinking about recipes! I talked to my husband about the new themes. For whole spices, he gave the idea of doing fish and chips with unrefined spices, like sea salt and capers.
I asked my husband and he said, "Isn't Creme brulee foam?" I looked it up and apparently there's a little foam on the top of the brulee when it's done.
Hmmmm!! I went digging through my cookbooks because I think I'd like to use one of cookbook recipes. Lots of banana bread and banana recipes that involve fire, which...nnnnno thank you. Two recipes caught my attention:
- A banana bread recipe with butterscotch chips
