it was initially from his hotel, as i was trying to match up with the timeline in the post. monsters at noon, etc. and since Steve has a late night show, it wouldn't make sense he'd be at the station around that time.

buuuut i'd missed the part where the kraken starts popping up around ten. so. yeah. he's still at the station, being useless lmao

i will say, i love how Laszlo and Steve are 2/2 on breaches throwing them together. it's a weird synchronicity.
