anyone else constantly annoyed by their boobs? they're just useless fatty clumps that bump against the arms when typing. like, can you just not?

So annoyed by them that when Covid is over I'm planning to have them surgically removed.

Got a reduction in 2011, want a full top surgery eventually.

I hate them, I wish I could have gotten rid of them decades ago

i'd love a reduction. 90% of this self-isolation i've gone without wearing a bra, except to go out, which is naturally rare. weight gain has made them worse.

libra would insurance cover that? or would it be considered cosmetic?

Not sure yet. I'm going to check with insurance to see if I can get it covered. It might be, but I'm not hopeful.

My sister wasn't able to get her reduction covered, despite it being recommended by her doctor, because insurance wanted her to try physical therapy first and try losing weight first and she went fuck it and just paid for it out of pocket.

'losing weight first' as if that's sooo easy to do. good on her! probably dumb question but was it worth it, or something she regretted later?

100% no regrets. She is thrilled.

And still very glad to have done it. It's been about...4 or 5 years now?

When I mention to her that I want surgery, her response is lots of "yes. do it. it's amazing having less boob. so good."

Yeah, if they're large enough it MIGHT be covered, but there's also sometimes BS weight goals involved. I got my medically necessary reduction in Norway so I can't speak much to how the process works there, but hit me up if you want to know about the surgery itself.

The intense emotional relief I felt about the reduction is also part of what made me realize I'm probably on the non-binary spectrum too so there's that, but I absolutely spent a good 12+ years Very Uncomfortable about my boobs for a number of reasons
