So I'm debating picking up this tablet...

according to my basic research, and the fact mom has said N O to anyting close to the 1k range of the surface pro (which is a problem about her being controling in an of itself but i disgress)

it may be my best options

Very reliable, has good graphics, has Google Play apps and I often use Ibis Paint on drawing

It's really nice!

Having it be good for drawing AND be able to download Google Play apps was a huge plus for me

It saves money
