this is of interest to me; D/P is the Pokemon game I've probably spent the most time with.

If they use Gen 8 Technology, then Mt Coronet could easily be redesigned into a massive tiered wild area with some serious design choices

Because if you look at Galar, you can see some major improvements from the original Wild Area to the expansions

in terms of design and feel and execution, and over time the patches solved the lag and pop-in too

not completely, because Nintendo's Internet is kinda awful but

at the same time, the Wild Area Play is definitely 1000% better than it used to be

Mt. Coronet would benefit from being converted into a massive wild area that you would revisit over and over during the course of the trip because it dominates Sinnoh so so much

and it would make traversing it so much less exhausting
