I like the original episode from the anime that depicts Askeladd ambiguous intent. Here i want to give a try about how Thorfinn will respond to his first kill. read left->right

though i'm not so sure if this comic is understandable, as I picked the theme of "feeling" something that will be hard to depict and understand. and I'm not sure if people will understand the implied message i put here. so I'm hoping for any critique or question!

This is a great piece!
It kind of explains why little Thorfinn grew up to be a key person in Askeladd's team, and at the same time a grumpy unhappy teenager.
Those uncles were sure of good intention, but kiddo was not cut out for the trade of shredding blood.
Maybe he really learnt his father's teaching by heart

Bjorn's expression is very good, being slightly annoyed and did not like his colleague's way of playing with the kid

I like Thorfinn’s way to state his position by not trying to fit with the bandit group for 11 years.
However, I want to utilize the scene at ep 6 where Thorfinn only scream and cry a loud after his first kill, did he feel remorse? Or even the otherwise, a feeling of glory to get a chance to duel--

But I can sure he just forgot about it as the time goes.

Awirn: As Bjorn I have feeling that he had no intention to be Thorfinn’s enemy. It’s kinda cute that later Bjorn seems like he used to take care of Thorfinn’s broken arm. I believe he had some sympathy to Thorfinn. Ah and I remember the comic you drew about Bjorn last conversation to Thorfinn, feels like that’s the canon feeling of them.
