But this is one of my favorite versions of Zelda (with the Japanese voice of course... Idk why they made a 17 yo princess sound like a late 20s British lady in the English)

But uugghhg just her desperation to do her duty and awaken her power because she loves her country and her people and wants to live up to her mom's legacy juxtaposed with her want to just be a nerd

And Link with this similar personal dichotomy but he's weighed by how he can do what he does so he obv. has to and just. Doesn't feel like he has a choice because this is what he's for, so he doesn't have a personal direction other than 'idk I like food? And climbing shit?'

And shield sledding.

But that's not important so he doesn't talk about it. And doesn't talk about anything really because he also has expectations to live up to and it weighs on him so much his whole personality gets squelched under the pressure.

I fucking love that they actually address that in BotW.

Also I'll just be over here waiting for Urbosa to step on me, carry on.
