I had only noticed the loss of the Open University but it was wider than that. Evil capitalism wants to monetise everything. Hence the continual moves to defund the BBC and privatise the NHS (for which the current pandemic has been a very convenient excuse).

it's going to tie in to why they haven't wanted to supply free laptops and tablets and connections and have only done so via overpaying a Tory crony company to under-deliver. In the world of capitalist scum, everything must involve someone getting rich at everyone else's expense.
