wait what? there is a head and body tracker system? How popular is Altamura someone in this post has a system like that and tracked which heads and bodies people are wearing at events

this would be nice to have for a creator, so we don't have to rely on polls and know what people are actually wearing

something like this is pretty easy to make, if you have the full list of bodies/heads you want to track. Not sure how skewed the data is by dupes tho if you're not also tracking uuid's and people leave and come back

Looking at the post, I’m wondering if they used something similar to a What Is She Wearing HUD and gathered the data manually at the location, then transferred it to list format. But if it’s something that lets them gather and sort it all automatically that would be really handy.

for events yes. for in a store, not so much since stores that only make for one or two bodies don't get the shoppers from other bodies.

this is very different from what the surveys say. What people really wear, and its got a lot of furry and anime.

just corvi : yeah exactly, it would only make sense if it's something like a hud that you wear when going to events or clubs or something where many different people come together. at my store it would probably give the same results as my polls but i would be interested in what people wear in general, not only my customer base

nods I often wear my Dinkie or NB avi's when I go to events because it's got a lower ... thingy... brain not working.... need more coffee. But yeah.. lower thingy, so I get less lag shopping that way. Less likely to get weirdos hitting on me in IM too lol

If somone dose this, I hope there is a way to not get duplicate info, that could skew it, also would need to take into factor what events it is at. An event with a catwa skin, will get more catwa, an event with a genus skin, would get more genus, etc.

The best events you might beable to do this at would probuallylly be things like shop and hop, skin fair, etc. Something with a large range of items for all kinds of different info.

side note, really interesting to see how popular the free bodies/ heads are, lots of tmp classic and lucybody.

I’d just love to see an accurate depiction of what people are using. I’m so used to seeing people link body surveys in specific groups so people flood the results with one specific body, even if it’s not what they use.

Val : Did anything ever come of this? More body surveys are circulating and it makes me curious for sure.

not yet, working on it tho. There's some things I've had to consider around where and how the data's going to be stored
