[computer stuff] SURE AM GLAD I GOT A $50 COOLING PAD THAT HAS A DYING MOTOR ALREADY
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
pretty sure it's the motor anyway, one fan is making a hell of a noise and the fan is running considerably slower than then one beside it
Monster Muffin
as hell this is why I hate that shit
Monster Muffin
the only one I bought died on me within a year. it was one of those ones you plug in by usb too
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
I'm a little pissy because Targus is usually pretty reliable!
Monster Muffin
ugh yeah they are
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
I think it's only been a month too? maybe a little more but definitely not two by now
Monster Muffin
well fuc
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
GOD YEAH NO, VIVI WAS REC'ING ME COOLING PADS ON DEC. 1ST
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
I DIDN'T EVEN GET 30 DAYS OUT OF THIS THING
BruberryMuffin
Peers in here for cooling pad recs when if you go there
BruberryMuffin
Because I kind of like my cooling pad? But man is it bulky.
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
well, FC-mate linked this one to me which looks pretty good if still a bit bulky
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
reviews seem generally good but gonna look into them more
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
I need bulky though, my laptop is a beefy boi
BruberryMuffin
That's the one I got.
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
five fans is very nice
BruberryMuffin
I also use that?
BruberryMuffin
I mean, double duty, yes, but there are times when I'm doing some heavy gaming on this thing.
BruberryMuffin
Hello Horizon Zero Dawn on Ultra.
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
this is the one that just fucked up on me
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
This one is pretty nice, only one fan but there's a review in there of someone who uses it with their Origin Eon 17X (same model as mine) who says it supports it pretty well and keeps it pretty cool though he hasn't done any temp test
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
price is a bit oof
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
but if it can handle a monster like Zelkova...
ð•ŧ𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖔𝖒 ð•ģ𝖎𝖛𝖊
apparently this pad I have now has a known problem of bearings coming loose on the fans which bf and I can maybe fix?
