my grandparents are Very Sad because multiple of their friends died this week and I wish I could cross state lines to hug them But Alas

but my sister visited them and brought them cookies so I expect that made them feel good!

(she also crossed state lines to...not hug them, stay a mandated number of feet apart, but fewer)

I mean I guess it’s technically only two state lines vs one, but it’s also five hours vs two, and I couldn’t drive five hours on a highway even IF my parents didn’t need the car

(Technically they have two cars, but the Subaru is the only one that can get up our driveway under these conditions)
