Hey Faramond Cities Skylines is free on Epic
Cities Skylines - Cities: Skylines
Mark (CG)
...how is Epic with mods anyway? Because Steam workshop mods have been essential to enjoying Cities Skylines :v
Faramond
Mark (CG) : Oh, yeah, thanks for the head's up. I availed of that offer.
Faramond
I am not sure about Epic with mods, and I haven't tried installing it yet.
Mark (CG)
if it's you I imagine this is on the top of your list:
Steam Workshop::Precision Engineering
Faramond
(lmao) dammit!
Faramond
But yeah~ damn, I've only heard this from you just now, but had I not, it'd be near the top of my list, if not the top.
Mark (CG)
the game has basically a list of must have mods, anyway (LOL)
Faramond
Yeah, if I totally disappear from all online activity, you know I've already successfully installed the game and all the must-have mods.
Mark (CG)
just remember that traffic is the killer of cities (LOL)
Mark (CG)

Faramond
Mark (CG) : Yes, of course. of course.

the general idea is that you tuck your residential zones as far away from the main highways as you could. Industry is closest to it, and commercial in between. You don't want to mix zones because commercial zones need to be refilled with products from industrial zones so residential areas would get fucked by delivery trucks if you mix 'em too much
Mark (CG)
early game it's not a problem because light residential and commercial don't demand as much. But the dense zone versions can fuck you up if you don't place them right.
