man I am just never a fan of those blogs where like. someone goes 'oh how would [x] act if [y] happened and you're in a relationship with them!' and the blogger has it alllll written out

bc 9 times outta 10 they seem to completely misconstrue the character in question

one flew across my dash for a personal fave character of mine and some of the points were just fine but then it reached a point of like. no, no, no, you have fundamentally misunderstood the character and how they might interpret feelings of jealousy

i find character/reader fiction very strange and uncomfortable

it feels like it's really taken off in the past couple of years, at least on tumblr. it's an interesting phenomenon to watch

honestly character/reader is one of my guilty pleasures but a lot of it is BAD

there is nothing worse than character/reader that is just generic Sappy Romance especially for characters that are kind of shitty

it's like. you have DEEPLY misunderstood why i would want to fuck this character.

like listen I have been around the fandom block, character/reader has always been around, it just seems to have had some kind of really big resurgence on tumblr as of late

but like. y'all. you gotta stay in character, or the character is no longer the character. that's no longer the fucking asshole or what have you I fell for!!!
