I just learned there is an official Smurfs RPG in Germany, and it has the wildest dice resolution mechanic possible.

1. X = Attribute + Skill Rating
2. Take X number of dice.
3. THROW THEM IN THE AIR.
4. Clap your hands.
5. Catch as many falling dice as you can; success is equal to how many you catch.
