finally kinda back in the mood to play video games again, but I should also read. help me figure out which options to choose for both (warning? for spiritual stuff if you're not interested)

- KH 3D (for the first time)

- Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning
- continue FF7R (yes it's taking me forever)
- KH 358/2 Days (for the first time
- a blessedly mind numbing hidden object game
- keep playing KH MOM

yes, shockingly for a KH fan who's been here since the beginning, the only games I haven't played are ReCoded, Days, and DDD

I've WATCHED the cutscenes but they don't stick in my memory like they likely would if I actually played the damn things

Days and DDD both came out at a time when I was uninterested in KH, I think. and I just haven't gotten around to playing them, even given how long Days has been around

(I'm not much of a handheld gamer)

I have no excuse now that DDD is in 0.2

as for Days, I've watched the "movie" several times but again it just doesn't stick in my memory the way playing it and going through the story as intended probably would

3D is probably my favorite of the KH games from a story perspective, but BbS is good too and I recommend them both!

Days can be a little tedious gameplay-wise and I'm not sure I'd recommend it except from a completionist standpoint.

BBS is my favorite and my bias for it can be seen from space
and yeah I do want to play every game from a completionist perspective. I should play more of the mobile but I'm terrified of getting sucked into gacha hell again

also FF7R is taking me forever because I find it painfully, agonizingly boring because of all of useless padding out of the game

I would have rather had a shorter game with just the essentials

I don't mind the free time for sidequests, I mind shit like the sequences moving between Sectors and the DUMB AS FUCK ghost section

KH 3D!! its really good and honestly right there with bbs as my favorite handheld game of the series. flowmotion is fun and there's a cute stadium mini-game

I also agree that you can probably skip days a little. the story is very much the best part of the game, but the gameplay is a little.... ehhhhhhh

it was not my favorite when i played it when it first came out and imo the gameplay has not aged well in comparison to some of the other handheld-originating games
