this is my bad, I haven't tagged in on Misty's thing yet -- OTOH Larry was definitely quiet and awkward so it's pretty reasonable for Lawrence to not place his voice at all

right now it just doesn't occur to him at all that anyone could have non-platonic feelings for him. it would be like... imagining they were all actually fish. or that the barge was actually floating through the center of the Earth. there's no mental connection there.
Norton is utterly baffled, too. it's been a long time since he's been nervously twitterpated and he doesn't know what to do with it. feelings are hard.
oh goodness. initially tries to give Larry some space, but by close to the party time, probably starts sending a series of texts like Are you coming to the party? You should come to the party. There's no mistletoe in the Enclosure.
If any appears, I'll warn you so you can stay away and then fling myself heroically into its path to destroy it, at great risk to myself of getting snogged.
