(Sylar) 1) What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do? Varies. Sometimes days at a time, other times barely a few hours. It's all in a feeling of contentment, when he doesn't feel the urge to go out and ~murder~ or cause general chaos.
There are canon points for this: on his own, he wants to constantly keep moving, restless, never settling. Until he meets Elle and her magical peach pie (that's... not a euphemism. Peach pie is his fave.) With someone else, those urges calm tf down.
That said it also depends on if he's putting on a persona (ie, Zane Taylor). Something he's done in a couple PSLs now. If that's the case, he's like a chameleon. If his target is fine with nothing to do, he'll pretend to be the same way. It all depends on his overall objective.
11) How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)? Definitely seek clarification for most of the really Big Things. Smaller ones, ie pop culture references, he'll feign understanding then immediately try and google that thing at the first stealthy opportunity.
21) How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)? Possessive like a motherfucker. See also: every interaction he had with Mohinder in S1 & 2, before the terrible writing took over. Once he deems something is 'his' he will become very bratty when that concept is challenged.
41) How badly do they want to reach their end goal? Especially well and not very at the same time. He wants Power, in all its forms, but also, he fears boredom and becoming obsolete. Once you sit upon the throne over all fallen enemies... then what? There's no one left to challenge you. Dull.
E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you? Ha! Doubtful. I lack his level of ambition, and the need to get out of the house and Do Things.
(Steve) 7) What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling? That Russell picture, any trinkets he has from home (the show and its love of pins i s2f), the few outfits spared the Great Burning...
Whether he enjoys the feeling depends on the object in question. Russell's picture is bittersweet. He's devastated he couldn't see him again during the flood because being with him was the purest/happiest time of his fucking life. Trinkets from home are reminders of how much he's gone through and changed (or, hasn't).
17) Are they easily embarrassed? What embarrasses them? Once he gets out of his current funk... Hm. No. At least, not anymore. He's shameless at this point, so pointing out his terrible sweaters, or his 'borrowing' kid books from the library, his horrible taste in men, he would probably just shrug about it and not get too bothered.
(Steve) 37) What memory do they revisit the most often? Tie between frat boy massacre & drinking Lillith's blood on mardi gras. So much tragedy in this fucker's life (a bit of it was his own doing let's be fair) that he basically had to die to learn how to really live.
(Spock) 37) What memory do they revisit the most often? His planet's destruction and death of his mother. He suffered insomnia and terrible nightmares in the comics and that shit hasn't gone away yet.
(Steve) 15) How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first? lmao absolutely Thought on the spot like 98% of the time. He wears his heart on his sleeve most nights. It takes a special kind of mood for the 2% of the time when he actively stops and thinks before speaking.
Okay, before? Definitely a lie. It's what his marriage was built on, it's what he shielded himself with, just. So much lying. Now though? He's reached the point of just be fucking honest already.
(Steve) 21) How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)? Vampire rage (read; childish af) possessiveness but also he'll do the valley girl bitch thing of 'Bothered? No. I'm totally not. It's whatever.'
(In the case of Sarah getting to fuck Jason and not him, this led to a lot of deep soul searching and cutting through years of denial. It's a fun thread to read throughout the book.)
39) How sensitive are they to their own flaws? Right now, overly much. Everything is terrible and he's questioning all of his life choices while simultaneously trying to rationalize some of them away.
I) Do you prefer to keep them in their canon universe? I suppose by definition of the barge they're out of canon? Unless the question means if I AU them otherwise. In which case I'd have to say no for Steve, but flexible with Spock.
(Spock) 7) What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling? Starfleet uniform, and yes, he likes to think about things he's done on board the Enterprise. The adventures they've had, his relationships, etc. Nostalgia for Vulcan is, of course, very... bittersweet. Brings more pain than happiness so he'll avoid dwelling on it.
(to expand further: It wasn't until he met Mohinder that he really began to question 'oh. I might like guys too.' before it never even entered his mind. it's not something he's overly concerned with, and enjoys weaponizing sexuality, if that makes sense. it's like the thrill of the hunt, same as when he kills.)

. . . Oof.
Vampire rage (read; childish af) possessiveness but also he'll do the valley girl bitch thing of 'Bothered? No. I'm totally not. It's whatever.'
