[work plurk] I've been reading through the first novel of a Series Of Unfortunate Events for tutoring, and we just finished it. The student enjoyed it, though she had trouble with some of the words - I wasn't aware how often "perhaps" and "enormous" were used in the story!

Now I'm writing up a test to check her comprehension of the book - it's fun to try writing it in Lemony Snicket's style of writing.
