We have a wind warning here, so I’m charging my devices in case the power goes out. I should make a thermos of tea.

I wasn’t fast enough! The power went out for a few minutes. When it came back on there was a high-pitched screeching. It took me a moment to realize it was the security alarm

Now I have a thermos of tea, just in case.

I hope it doesn't turn out to be too bad.

I am waiting for the rest of that storm. I know it wont be so bad.

There was a crash from the direction of the roof. There was just enough light to go outside to check the roof and trees. Dad’s antennas are still standing.
