[food] Trying the papa john's double cheeseburger pizza

for those unaware, the description is such:

so I've had a few bites of the pizza without any help.. and it's... bread with hunks of hamburger

if there's pizza sauce, I can't fuckin' tell

there's pickle for sure, but I can't tell if it helps or hurts, because I love dill pickle, and the flavor profile isn't offensive enough to turn me off of it

first bite with additional pizza sauce.. not bad, mostly pickle, so mostly that

took a second bite with additional sauce and... it was okay?

the burger sauce isn't bad. it's very sweet

it's definitely got some dill pickle juice in it, mayo, ranch, and maybe a touch of marinara for color and tang?

as well as some herbs, probably garlic sauce and some italian seasoning

I mean, it's Papa John's

does not blend well with crust on its own. crust is just a sauce delivery vehicle

re: crust: stick with the garlic sauce. it's 10000% better

ngl, munch squad has opened me up to trying a lot of stupid shit that is probably not fit for mortal consumption\

but I will credit it for tipping me off to the popeye's chicken sandwich about a month before everyone else caught on and yes, I can confirm, it's a fucking amazing chicken sandwich

does Justin eat any of the stuff on Munch Squad? I feel like he's too horrified by most of it

I will 100% vouch for the popeye's chicken sandwich tho. Get the spicy. It's so damn good. there's like, a whole goddamn piece of chicken in there, not a patty, and it's crispy and not over breaded

anyway, back to the pizza

the flavors don't really... seem to coalesce like they do in a usual pizza

derogatory if you can get it before the line hits up, I highly recommend it. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich is really fuckin good
