Huh, looks like we lost power sometime last night.

Not tooooo surprised. The wind chill out there is taking us from 42F to 'feels like 33F'.

It's back on now, but the stove clock was messed up.

(And Dad's alarm clock might have been too. I heard him rushing out earlier this morning and he's usually up early to watch the news.)

Pffft. Pulling in to work and my phone rings. It's my boss asking if I'd do shift upgrade later in the day. Let's see, five hours on the cold overhead, or ten hours in a selling booth with a heater and a higher hourly wage...

So I'm killing the time at Starbucks instead.

Must not have been out for long here, because I crashed around midnight and it was flashing six hours around seven.
