Had to go to walmart for cat litter and noticed ALDI was open. They didn't get any of the cool Advent calendars but I have all my baking needs for the holidays now. No excuses now as I've been given a list of things to make from the boys.

I went around 10 am this morning. They were sold out of the all calendars except for dogs, cats and cheap chocolate. I picked up a couple for the pups and a couple of the cheap chocolate ones.

Next time you are at Aldi's, pick up a red bag of frozen breaded Kirkwood chicken filets, some brioche buns and a jar of Great Gherkins pickle chips. Bake the filets for 20 minutes per side in 400 F oven. Lightly butter and toast a brioche bun and assemble with small pickle

chip or two and you have a meal very similar to a Chick-fil-a sandwich. If you have an air fryer, even better. 10 minutes per side.

I got 2 cheapie choc calendars for the boys. I"ll go look again for cheese/wine ones but it's not a deal killer.
