The big Image of Pacific Rim is Gipsy Danger slowly stomping its way through Hong Kong towards a kaiju, dragging a fucking cargo ship behind it with one hand
even though i get why they didn't because in an action movie about robots vs aliens you want to see the robots fight the aliens and you can't do that from vantage points that would really make the scale evident
