[uspol] i voted damnit, so whatever happens from here, I can at least say I've done what I reasonably could.

i've made my case to people willing to listen, and people i've judged to be willing to be reasoned with, and i hope I've had success, but always with the knowledge that pushing too hard has the opposite effect

but whatever, i just want to let it go for now. i don't think we're going to know 100% by tonight, i think that's a bad expectation to take
