Hogwarts Houses for my characters, because I am all about raiding Jo's sandbox for parts.

Naoki is a 'path of least resistance' Ravenclaw. He does have a Hufflepuff streak, but it was not exactly... present or obvious when he was 11.

(It didn't really turn up until Grid 1.0.)

Claudia is very 'puff, but would have expected to follow Joshua into Ravenclaw. She is definitely smart enough to justify it... but the tenacity of 'kidnap federal agent to rescue brother' is what tips the scales here.

Shinji is That Hufflepuff Who Confuses Everyone Outside The House. But that's where he fits best.

Neriel is another 'puff, trying to keep track of a pair of fucking ridiculous Gryffindors. (She loves Eric and Tarkus but they're both ridiculous.)

Arachne is disappointing her father by accepting a Hogwarts letter at all, but what else is new! Thaddeus Dowling The At Least Fourth can go fuck himself.

She's very Ravenclaw material, which would also disappoint her father if he knew what it meant!

(Tad, were he not Too Murican For Hogwarts, would have doubled down on Gryffindor because 'that's the Good Guys House, right???' Harriet, meanwhile, is extremely Slytherin.)

Crowley would consider being put in the Snake House cheating. I lean 'puff but a strong case can be made for Ravenclaw.

My type extends into Pottercanon with Regulus, who I play as 'really should have been in Ravenclaw, but after Sirius bucked the system he was legit not sure he'd survive Christmas hols if he did that.'

Self-preservation is a Big Motivator.

Yusuke is a Luna Lovegood flavor Ravenclaw.

Kanji is the World's Angriest Hufflepuff. (Has a giant crush on that one tiny Slytherin. You know, with the hat.)

Also: While I am no longer actively into Once Upon a Time (Ruby remains the lone Gryffindor I've felt moved to app anywhere), I will die on the hill of 'Regina Mills is a Hufflepuff, guys.'

Her mom is the archetypal Slytherin and at 11, Regina wanted nothing more than to be AS LITTLE LIKE HER MOM AS POSSIBLE.
