Hurricanes and tropical storms this far inland generally don't produce high winds. This one is down to 60-70mph. The problem is that the front bands spawn tornadoes. Unlike normal tornadoes, there is no warning - you can see those clouds form beforehand. We are currently in the outer bands. OY!
