It means the games are streamed, not running off the actual console.

I mean the alternative is these games just don't get put out at all for this particular system.

Stadia was exceptionally bad but game streaming is fairly widespread at this point. Sony's had PS Now for years, MS has been developing xCloud for years and is now rolling it out.

PS Now could use some improvements (please give me some higher resolutions, Sony), while by all accounts xCloud works quite well.

If anything, it's worth a whirl.
