puts my face in a pillow and quietly screams

today has just been. a day.

to start, I overslept my alarm, completely missed an 8am meeting that I was supposed to attend

then when i was about to shower and walk the dog in a gap between meetings, some very kind gentlemen showed up to patch up the hole in my ceiling so I couldn't very well shower while kind gentlemen were in my home!1

except kind gentlemen didn't leave until nearly 3pm, in the middle of my therapy session

so I had to. do my therapy via zoom call with other people in my house

but it's fine I showered at 3pm, whatever. but then

at 4pm, I get an email from our condo association manager! saying that he's shutting down our online portal and shutting down his business effective November 1st! which does not work because our new HOA company doesn't start services until December 1st

So I have to fire off a series of frantic emails trying to figure out what the fuck is going on there

and then I realize that an online thing I've signed up for that I thought started at 5pm, actually starts at 9pm. which means. I can't attend it anymore

so I try to go to the page to cancel it only I can't find the cancel button and I wound up having to contact support just so they could point me to the tiny "Cancel" link that was totally on the page all along, I just missed it

but just. aaaahhhhh

also I didn't each lunch until 3pm. because. kind gentlemen in my kitchen until 3pm.

anyway it's been A Day and I'm ready for it to be done?

mumbles the good news is the dog and cat are now fed and the dog was walked at 3pm so probably he won't need to go out again for a while and I have leftovers for dinner so i can just melt into my couch and play hades for a while

good news is also the kind gentlemen actually called me to let me know they're coming by to paint at...8:30am tomorrow. lol

also you all must know that earlier today I decided I'd finally call up my salon to schedule a haircut because I'm very much in need of one, so I pulled up their website to get their phone number, noticed "oh, they're closed on mondays." and then proceeded to dial them up...and go straight to voice mail

because they're closed on mondays
