Question! Does anyone else get distorted skin textures when going into appearance mode? Happens for me all the time with Maitreya and Legacy, never with Slink.

Yup! Happens to me with Maitreya for sure too. I do think I’ve run into it on my Legacy Perky but I just assumed it was normal for all of them. I haven’t specifically tested to see which bodies it happens on or not for me.

Slink never does it for me at least, but Maitreya always does and Legacy always does. Makes it hard to make shapes when you can't see the skin properly!

yes it makes it hard to adjust tint or something.. like a finger/feet fix cuz i don't see the skin and seams

I find it bizarre that this has not been discussed more widely if it is common!

Yeah. Its when your wear BOM skin, and edit, it goes wacky. To adjust shape, I will use an applier skin, then go back to BOM

That is...sloppy of the body designers.

Freyja : I think it's an SL glitch. It comes and goes. Sometimes work and sometimes doesn't.

I am not so sure about that. I get it 100% of the time with Maitreya and Legacy. Never with Slink.

Every time without fail for me. I use Firestorm - I haven't tried it with other viewers. It makes for a very difficult time testing texture changes locally.

Hmm I have Maitreya with BOM and everything and have never experienced this.

I get the glitch no matter what body I'm wearing (and I have too many ) so I'm pretty sure it's the viewer.

Weird, I literally have never ever seen it with either Slink body and I always use Firestorm.

Hm. Time to download some other viewers, I guess!
