not using FaceBook at all (having worked out it was evil right from the start) but it might be worthwhile installing the AdObserver tool if you are one of the people forced to use facebook for stupid family reasons etc.

that, unfortunately, "Mobile browsers don’t allow for plugins." So they must be missing a lot of the adverts which target those sorts of people.

and apparently there's another problematic entity called Clearview which steals people's pictures and is funded by a FaceBook board member (Peter Thiel):

it's one of those double-standards cases where the scum running FaceBook want to be the only ones to monetise (and weaponise) people's private data.
