And honestly I feel like they're gonna make a big announcement for Gen 9 that 'oh we're not cutting any pokemon from swsh we saw how important it was to you'
I feel like they could also be more transparent about how Pokemon will be phased in through free updates for transfers/trades and dlc for if you want to catch them in game?
Like, everyone gets access to Landorus at the same time regardless of whether this is their first game or they’ve transferred it all the way from BW or B2W2
I'm still really not happy with gen 8 overall (I didn't even bother with the dlcs, even though I was initially excited for them). And it's not fair that the game devs were the ones that suffered most :|
I really don't like these Triple A publishers that put their customers in these awkward positions either. Buying the game shows 'support', but all it does is tell execs that the crunch was profitable and so the crunch will happen again. Boycotting means studio makes little/no money, and devs get paid less....after being crunched to death
I mean at the very least there’s been a pattern of the first new gen game on a new console being kind of rough and the next one being significantly improved
But yeah even if I do think Gen 9 will be less of a goddamn mess I’m pretty worried about conditions. Hopefully if there’s a remake next year they do DLC or something similarly less intensive afterwards
indie good, mainstream bad
(thats the date it came from)
but i am beginning to think that its something more.
